With a strong academic background and practical experience in international law, Alejandra provides strategic counsel to businesses expanding into the U.S. market. She earned her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, holds a B.A. in International Studies from Emory University, and is an alumna of Miss Porter’s School. Actively involved in pro bono initiatives supporting underserved communities in New York, Alejandra ensures seamless communication and comprehensive legal support for clients throughout their legal journey.

Diego G. Chalita
Foreign Associate
Diego Chalita is a seasoned Latin American corporate attorney, immigration consultant, and business advisor specializing in cross-border matters between Latin America and the United States. He holds an LL.M. in U.S. & Transnational Law from the University of Miami School of Law and an MBA with a specialization in International Business from SIU, Miami, and is licensed to practice in Colombia.
Focusing on startups, founders, and investors, Diego brings extensive experience in corporate structuring, venture financing, and U.S. market-entry strategies. He designs comprehensive legal frameworks for high-growth companies, manages equity rounds, implements stock-option plans, and ensures regulatory compliance across the United States, Mexico, Colombia, and the Cayman Islands.
Diego assists attorneys in business-related immigration matters, specializing in investment and talent visas (E-2, L-1, O-1, EB-1, EB-2/NIW). Before joining Lav Legal, he advised multiple tech startups in the proptech and sportech sectors and frequently speaks on corporate law and startup frameworks throughout Latin America.

Mark Yosef is a New York–based real estate attorney at Lav Legal, focusing on residential and commercial transactions, condominium and cooperative matters, and landlord–tenant issues in New York. A native New Yorker, Mark combines deep knowledge of the local market with practical, business-minded counsel to help clients close efficiently and protect their interests.

He earned his J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law and holds a B.A. in Economics from New York University. Drawing on both his economics background and real estate experience, Mark guides buyers, sellers, landlords, and investors through every stage of a deal, ensuring clear communication and smooth execution.
